Despite the passage of decades, the remnants of the once-imposing rock wall can still be seen, lying exactly where they were left. Cars nowadays, with their non-metallic bumpers, make such a task far less likely to occur.

Stranger still, a few years later, the entire house was stripped down, and the shingles were replaced. The experience was so impactful that it remains a talking point for those who remember the story.
