Pretending to Be a Waterbender: A Lifelong Fantasy
Have you ever, as a kid, pretended to be a waterbender in the shower or a pool? I bet everyone who has seen the show tried it at least once!

A Deep Dive into Childhood Imagination
I wouldn’t be the only one pretending to be a waterbender, would I? Here are a few more common examples from my childhood:
Goob moments: As a kid, I wouldn’t play pretend often, but Avatar still had me pretending to be a waterbender. Other Hero Fantasies: I was also a fan of Wolverine, a Ninja Turtle, or simply a Ninja. My favorite move was Guile’s Sonic Boom from Street Fighter. Why? Because I’m an 80s kid! I was already 27 when I first saw Avatar. From Childhood to Adulthood
What about you? Do you ever pretend to be a waterbender now, even as an adult? Share your experiences in the comments below! I'd love to hear from fellow fans who have a similar storyline.
