Was God Really Born in the World or Just Imaginary?
The concept of God and the theological significance of his presence on Earth is one of the most profound and enduring questions explored by humanity. The name Jesus is derived from the Hebrew name 'Yeshua', which means 'to deliver / to rescue'. This name carries deep significance, as it suggests a role of salvation and redemption.
The Covenant and the Consequence of Sin
God made several covenants with mankind, and the penalty for breaking these covenants was death. According to the Bible, specifically Romans 6:23, the wages of sin is death, not just physical death but a more profound spiritual loss:
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Despite this, God honored the sanctity of oaths, promises, and covenants, and Took On Himself the penalty for their violation (Matthew 26:28).
Jesus: The Son of God
According to the Bible, Jesus came from God the Father (John 5:23, 5:30, 5:36-37, 17:23, 8:42, 16:28, 6:44, 3:16) to suffer a redemptive death:
"There is no one else in the world who can do this. Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" (1 John 2:2)
He is the propitiation and atoning sacrifice for our sins, not only for our sins but also for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2). Through faith in Jesus Christ, we escape spiritual death as He paid the price for all sins – past, present, and future (Romans 6:23).
Jesus' Birth and Divinity
Jesus incarnate is 100% God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and 100% man, born of Mary via the 'Virgin Birth' – as predicted in Isaiah 7:14 and fulfilled in Luke 1:35 and Matthew 1:23.
"This is how Jesus Christ was born. Mary, His mother, had been given to Joseph in marriage, but before they lived together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 1:18)
This unique conception reflects the divine nature of Jesus, emphasizing that He is the manifestation of God in human form.
The Presence of God
God is our creator, the creator of the world. The moment you read these words, countless operations are running inside your body, and thousands of cells are dying and being replaced. And yet, among all the complexity of life, the question of who created it has profound implications. It is a question that everyone should ask.
"Have not asked a question whom is behind… He’s real."
God/Allah has always been present and will always remain present. God/Allah created mankind, and mankind created myths. So God/Allah was around before the word myth was even thought of.
The Path to Salvation
For God and man to be reconciled, both had to be totally involved. The incarnation of Jesus as the Son of God through the Holy Spirit is essential for reconciliation. The only way to salvation is through faith in Jesus and doing His will (John 3:16).
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
Ultimately, the questions of God’s existence, the significance of Jesus, and the path to salvation are not merely philosophical musings but profound matters of faith and belief.
